History:
LTV Technologies and Supplies has a rich history rooted in the ever-evolving field of renewable energy technology and safety products in South Africa. Founded with a vision to revolutionize the way energy is harnessed and secured, our journey began with a deep concern for the safety of consumers and properties in the face of rapid technological advancements.
Under the guidance of Johan, our Managing Director, who boasts 15 years of extensive experience in the solar industry, we witnessed the remarkable growth of renewable energy technologies. However, this growth also brought to light the inherent dangers associated with DC current, particularly in the context of larger and more advanced systems entering the market. High-voltage systems became the new standard, not only in photovoltaics but also in emerging battery technologies and electric vehicles.

The energy landscape in South Africa faced its own set of challenges, with the inability of the national energy supplier, Eskom, to meet the increasing demand since 2008. Recognizing these pressing issues, we pivoted from being installation-focused to becoming a trusted supplier of top-quality products to installers and consumers alike.
